Ambient Skies with Rumen

Relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the sunset, as ambient duo Rumen wash you in lush harmonies and sounds as the stars come out, followed by guided stargazing with Sussex Sidewalk Astronomers.

THIS IS RUMEN:

Rooted in cinematic soundscapes, conjuring emotional evocative imagery. Christopher White & Ruby Colley come together for the first time to release a unique collaborative project, driven by soprano saxophone, violin and electronics.

As well as conventional playing styles they employ extended techniques, utilizing the violin & saxophone in textural and unexpected ways. Their live performances manipulate live strings, synths and multi-tracking recordings. Both driven by composition that defies categorisation, White & Colley traverse genres such as classical, jazz and electronica creating celestial soundscapes that immerse and captivate.

Doors open at 7:30pm, music from 8:30pm.

Bring a blanket / cushions / a chair to make yourself comfortable and cosy.
