Things to consider:
- Max capacity is 500 people
- Approximately 261,360 square feet of space on different levels
- Three toilets on site, one accessible, more can be hired in
- One combined entrance & exit
Access
A small driveway / path leads up to the main entrance. This is the only entrance and exit to the castle.
Vehicles can drive up to the entrance but cannot drive inside the castle, so all items needed inside the castle need to be brought in manually.

Restricted Areas & Work
The nature of being a Grade 2 listed, scheduled ancient monument means that from time to time areas may become inaccessible, or need cordoning off for safety while restoration works are in progress.
Considerations:
- The ground is uneven throughout
- Castle walls cannot be climbed or drilled into
- The ground cannot be penetrated more than 6 inches deep
- Advance permissions are required before bringing large structures or items on site
